newmar

RV Buyers Advocate focus on Newmar is with the higher end Luxury Coaches, including the King Aire, Essex, Mountainaire and Londonaire coaches. In the 1980s, Newmar, which was initially founded in 1968 entered the Class A motorhome market, building premium-quality motor coaches in small numbers. In 1990, the company introduced two iconic motor coaches that still exist today: Dutch Star and Mountain Aire. At the same time, Newmar began pioneering concepts and features that would change the industry; including the first traditional slide outs and flush floor slide outs ever featured in a Class A coach. By the late 1990s, Newmar became the first to offer full body paint on both its towable and motor coach products.

In 2006, Owner, Mahlon Miller’s son Matt became Newmar’s new president. When the economic recession arrived soon thereafter, Matt Miller insisted Newmar stay the course by maintaining its commitments to dealers and customers. In 2012, Newmar exited the fifth wheel segment that helped shape the company decades earlier, choosing to focus entirely on crafting the finest Class A motorhomes the industry had ever seen. Today, Newmar is stronger than ever thanks to an unwavering commitment to service, quality and innovation that remains unmatched.

King Aire motorhome

King Aire

In 2008, the King Aire was introduced as the first Newmar built on a Spartan® K3 chassis. And paired with the remarkable 600-hp Cummins® ISX engine, It was in good company along with the Country Coach, American Coach Monaco High-line coaches as the most powerful luxury motorhomes on the road.

Kingaire also came with Newmar’s exclusive Comfort Drive™ Steering that makes turning, backing up and changing lanes. This system returns the steering wheel to the center and helps you maintain a smooth course. You’ll find there’s little correction involved. Plus, with front and rear tag disc brakes offering superior stopping power. RV Buyers Advocate appreciates Newmar continuing to build their higher end coaches with better components than other manufacturers who chose to cut building costs to try and stay in business through the economic downturn that started in 2008, making the Kingaire the best built coach in 2017, second only to Newell, Foretravel and Prevost today.

Essex luxury RV

Essex

The Essex started its existence as a glitzed up Mountain Aire in 2003 and would eventually end up as one of the most wanted high line motorhomes ever.

Today the Essex is on the Spartan K3 Chassis and boasts 600 HP and iPad Control of many coach functions. Our primary focus is on 2006 through 2014 Essex. 2008 offers the best return on investment in our opinion.

Mountain Aire RV

Mountain Aire

The Mountain Aire offers a great deal of value by offering many high-end amenities at a conventional diesel price. The Mountain Aire has been around for 20 years. RV Buyers Advocate is focused on the 2007 and later models because of the larger chassis and Cummins ISM 450 Engine.
