Holiday Rambler is one of America’s oldest brand names. HR pioneered Aluminum-frame construction of side walls in towable and motorized RVs. RV Buyers Advocate is primarily focused on HR’s built while under the ownership of Monaco Coach Corp (2002-2009 model years) of which 2 models were built with Monaco’s Semi-monocoque structural steel frame on a 10 air bag, steel Roadmaster Chassis.
The Models we are focused on includes the Steel framed Navigator, Imperial, and the Sceptor with Laminated Fiberglass over Aluminum sidewalls. Holiday Rambler coaches offers different styling to their Monaco sister coaches but share the identical construction and cabinets.
Navigator
The Navigator Stands tall as the flagship of the Holiday Rambler line. It is the sister ship to the Monaco Executive and shares many of the standard features of the Exec. The main differences are the exterior fender skirts along with front and rear caps and paint graphic schemes.
Almost all options from Monaco coaches were available on the Navigator. RV Buyers Advocate sees the Value advantage of the Navigator being its low sticker price when compared to the Executive. More bang for less NADA value. With our focus on model years 2004 through 2009, These coaches were available in 500, 525, 600 and 650 Cummins as well as 515 Detroit Series 60.
Imperial
The Holiday Rambler Imperial name goes back decades in HR history starting out as a trailer, evolving into a class A gas model and eventually to a tag axle coach. The imperial is the sister coach to the Monaco Dynasty, sharing the same Semi-monocoque frame and Roadmaster chassis as the Dynasty.
The Imperial offers more value to buyers compared to the Dynasty, having a lower MSRP and offering most of the Dynasty’s features. RV Buyers Advocate is mainly focused on Imperials built in Oregon or Model years 2006 through 2009.
Sceptor
The Holiday Rambler Sceptor is a value version of the Imperial. It offers many of the same interior features of the Imperial, including Aqua-hot, which is optional, and the aluminum structure and chassis of it’s sister Monaco Camelot. RV Buyers Advocate focuses on tag axle Sceptor model years 2006,2007 and 2009.
